Stainless steel filter cartridges are made of single or multiple layers of metal mesh, the number of layers and the mesh count depending on the application and usage. Materials include 304, 304L, 316, and 316L stainless steel perforated mesh, woven mesh, welded mesh, as well as brass mesh and aluminum foil mesh.
The manufacturing process typically involves cutting, rolling, welding, rounding, surface treatment, and forming. Welding methods include single-layer welding, multi-layer welding, and sometimes single-layer welding followed by overlapping and interlocking of the filter cartridges to form a multi-layer filter.
Common styles include basket type, double-ear type, flange type, basket filter cartridge, and threaded interface type.
Stainless steel filter cartridges offer excellent filtration performance for particles or liquids ranging from 1-500μm, with absolute filtration accuracy, high concentricity, high pressure resistance, and good straightness. The burr-free stainless steel material ensures a long service life, high flow rate per unit area, and reusability after cleaning. It has different porosities (28%~50%), with crisscrossing channels, and is resistant to high temperatures and rapid heating/cooling. It is corrosion resistant and suitable for various corrosive media such as acids and alkalis; it has high strength and good toughness, making it suitable for high-pressure environments; it is weldable for easy assembly and disassembly; the pore shape is stable and uniformly distributed, ensuring stable filtration performance; it has good regeneration performance, and its filtration performance can be restored to more than 90% after repeated washing and regeneration.
