Product Overview

 

Refractory anchors, also known as ceramic anchors or fiber anchors, are specialized fastening components used to secure refractory linings (such as castables, plastics, or ceramic fiber modules) to the steel shell of industrial furnaces, kilns, or boilers. They compensate for the differential thermal expansion between the steel casing and the refractory material, preventing lining collapse and extending equipment lifespan.

Material

 

Refractory anchors are manufactured from high-temperature resistant materials to suit various operating environments:

Stainless Steel: Grades 304, 310S, 316, 321, etc. (Most common; offers oxidation resistance up to 1100°C depending on grade).

Nickel-Chromium Alloys: Inconel 600, Inconel 601. (Used in extreme corrosive environments and ultra-high temperatures up to 1200°C).

Carbon Steel: (Used for low-temperature applications where corrosion is not a concern).

Ceramic Materials: Mullite or alumina-based. (Used exclusively for ceramic fiber modules where metal contamination must be avoided).
